We are on the last stretch! Below (among documentation of our beautiful glowing structure) TeamEvol is practicing for our turn at Group of the Week! Please come see our presentation! 3pm this Thursday the 29th in Sears Auditorium in the Humanities building on campus.
We are done shooting footage with our blue "green screen" and are starting to move on to building the structure that the projections will find their home in. Leaning toward fabric at the moment, more detailed planning at the Armory will ensue tomorrow! Sad to be done shooting, but how exciting to move on in our process- time to build!
Hold onto your hats- they are naturals! We started really diving into shooting footage for our projections today. Below are shots of Team Evol marching in reference to a Francisco Goya painting, The Shootings of May 3rd in Madrid . Marching is one scene out of many that we plan to shoot relating to our original ideas of the "ideal" world and government and authority. More to come!
How quickly the summer is passing... thankfully week three has been very productive! We finished our Team EVOL tee-shirts (to debut on Monday 7/5), completed our scrolling pastel drawings and our test stop-motion and rolling-rig videos of them. Check out our hard work:
